ABOUT RIDERHOUSE

Tools from the stage, not from a desk

I’m Timo and I’ve worked in the music business for many years, on every side of the stage. Riderhouse is what I wish I’d had back then: tools and templates that make a band look professional from the very first email.

What I do

  1. Drummer: many years on tour myself, in clubs, venues and at festivals.
  2. Backliner: these days mostly on the road with big rock productions. I set up, tune, fix and make sure everything on stage is ready before the band arrives.
  3. Producer and songwriter: in the studio for various artists, including songs for the Eurovision Song Contest.
  4. Artist manager: as managing director of an artist management company I know the side of contracts, advancing and tour planning.

Why Riderhouse exists

As a backliner I see riders, stage plots and input lists every week. Some are perfect, many are outdated, incomplete or a napkin sketch. That costs time and nerves on show day, for the band and for the local crew.

Most bands don’t do it out of laziness but because nobody ever showed them how. That’s where Riderhouse comes in: with a free stage plot builder, hands-on know-how in the blog and templates built from real tour documents.

How the content is made

  • Everything here comes from practice: shows, soundchecks, advancing calls and studio sessions.
  • The templates are structured the way engineers and promoters want to read them, with a filled-in example.
  • Gear recommendations in the blog are things I know or that are standard on tour. Some links are affiliate links. The price stays the same for you.
